Częstochowa in Loreto
From May 12 to 16 a group of teachers and students from our school was hosted by our partner schools in Loreto. We stayed at Italian houses and faced the hospitality of their families. Despite the fact that the visit lasted only 4 days we had an opportunity to see a lot of interesting places and perform various activities with our Italian friends.

Among the most exciting experiences we can mention the theme park in Rimini called “ Italy in Miniature”, visits at 3 schools and at the Town Hall where we were warmly welcomed and having a lot of fun during the stay at the seaside on a picturesque beach. Our need for exploring the beautiful country such as Italy was fulfilled on a trip to Frasassi caves , to Marmore waterfalls and the city of Loreto. Also, we tasted the famous Italian cuisine with its richness of flavours provided by our host at the farewell dinner at school. To sum up, we can say that the whole visit was a great adventure which brought us unforgettable memories and enabled us to make new friends.

We would like to thank the mistress of the school , the teachers, the families and all those kind people who put so much effort in making us feel like at home. We hope it was the beginning of an effective cooperation and a long lasting friendship.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
In the middle of April we hosted a group of 2 teachers and 11 students from an Italian school in Loreto. The first visit which took place in Częstochowa is a continuation of bilateral exchanges of pupils in our school. Our first partner schools were from Müncheberg and Hildesheim in Germany.

After many attempts we managed to start a new cooperation which is not a part of European programme Comenius. It is a great opportunity for the students to learn the culture of the hosting country. Visiting tourist places and our school, staying with Polish families and spending time together are valuable experiences for Italian guests. The programme for our guests included many places to visit such as Jasna Góra Monastery, theme park with religious monuments, Kraków, Zakopane as well as art , music, physical and geography lessons.

Our guests were impressed by visited places and Polish hospitality . The authors of the successful visit and cooperation were teachers and parents who were involved in the event, especially those who were hosted families.
The welcome dinner at school was a great occasion to establish less formal relationships and to make new friends. We hope that it will become our new tradition.

In May our students and teachers are going to Loreto. We are looking forward to it.
